Sometimes when I'm getting ready to go take pictures with my angel pie of a chihuahua, I want to change into something "cute" but I don't because this is how I really dress! I feel like my outfits aren't blog worthy because I'm not wearing heels, boyfriend blazers, or designer a...ny...thing but this is me! Simple, inexpensive, at times mismatched, but functional. I like to throw random things on that I can chill in all day because that's what I do, chill.

Anyhoodle, I got back from New York yesterday and the first day I was there I was walking down the street talking to my friend about coincidences and I was wearing this peace sign scarf then we turned the corner and passed a girl who was wearing the same exact scarf as me! I pointed at her and said "Twins!" and both of us laughed and just walked past each other. I wonder who she was.

So anyway, in these pics I'm wearing a Forever 21 sunnies, top and shorts, thrifted cardigan and purse, boots from a random LA store, my mom gave me the scarf, my earrings are from JewelMint, and the white rose is a flower I pulled off of a synthetic bouquet from the dollar store.

It's getting closer and closer to summer and I love the color that my hair turns around this time. In fall and winter my hair darkens and looks almost gray and not cute! So I'm happy whenever I get these golden highlights from the sun. I'm thinking about really highlighting my hair but I don't want to deal with them growing out and the maintenance of having dyed hair.

While cleaning out my closet today, I found these skinny cargo pants that I bought from Cotton On for $10 a few months ago. I never got to wear them because they got lost in my sea of clothes before I had the chance. So I decided to dress like a boy today. I paired my cargos with the best sweater I ever bought at a thrift store and shoes I bought at Urban Outfitters. Aren't those earrings bomb? They remind me of something a rebellious teen would wear. I was sent them from JewelMint. I love jewelry that's kinda weird or different so I always find something I like on that website.

I feel awkward making fashion related blogs LOL!

I'm so happy that my best chica, Jessica, is coming home from Europe today! As some of you know, she and our friend Franchesca have a travel blog, http://www.mypeacelovetravel.com/, and I can't wait to read about this trip. I told her to record a lot so I can upload a video of it on my channel. Anyway, she told me that she fell head over heels in L.O.V.E. with Paris and that I'd love it and now I want to go so bad! I've always wanted to travel to France because I took French in high school but I never REALLY thought about it until now! I can't wait to be able to travel overseas. I love traveling anywhere. I like seeing new things and meeting new people.

I'm crop top crazy, if you haven't noticed by now. But foolishly, I took my hair shears to this cute shirt a few days ago and ruined it. I tried to cut fringe on the bottom, which came out crappy anyway so then I was forced to make it a crop top. I guess everyone has favorite articles of clothing. Mine are dresses, rompers, and (obviously) crop tops. It ended up being super windy outside but I didn't change because apparently I don't know how to dress for seasons other than Spring and Summer. I'm known for wearing too little. But what can I say? I'm a California girl!
